Volunteers needed for Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals

Want to be a part of the mountain biking action this weekend at Beech Mountain Resort? The ski area/mountain biking area is now seeking volunteers for the 2014 USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals, coming up this weekend, Oct. 24-26.

Upon completion of the assigned position, volunteers will receive midweek lift tickets during ski season. The need 150 volunteers, so sign up to work starting this Wednesday-Sunday, Oct. 22-26.

Event Setup: Wednesday, Oct. 22 and Thursday, Oct. 23.

Location: Beech Mountain Resort and Emerald Outback

Races: Cross Country, Downhill, Dual Slalom, Short Track, Team Relay

Who: Nearly 350 student athletes from 50 colleges and universities. Visitors will also include: spectators, coaches, sponsors, officials and more.

Needed: Course Marshals, Course Setup/Breakdown, Registration.
